Conditions of Use

1 ORDERING AND DELIVERY

We shall endeavour to post your order within 2 – 3 working days of receiving it (sometimes same day) but please allow at least 10 working days before contacting us to check progress on orders not received.

A minimum order value of £9  normally applies (excluding postal charges).  HOWEVER, UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE THE MINIMUM ORDER VALUE IS JUST £5.00.  In exceptional circumstances we may be prepared to send out a specific item which amounts to less than the minimum order, but please e-mail us first to check.

Occasionally, an item ordered may be out of stock. In such circumstances, we may delay sending out the order until new stock has arrived if we are expecting new supplies within a few days. Otherwise we can send these items out separately once they are in stock – you will not be charged postage separately for these items. We shall send you an e-mail to advise of any significant delay i.e. more than 10 working days and give you the option of cancelling those items.

2 POSTAGE

A standard postal charge of £1.95 normally applies to all orders.  However, from time to time reduced post and packing charges may apply for promotional purposes. Our current promotion is Post & Packing just £1.75.  Details of these promotions may be found in the News section, or by going to checkout, where the latest p&p charge will be shown.  Where an order has been sent out in separate parts, only one postal charge will apply.

3 RETURNS

Please notify us immediately (within 3 days of receipt of order) if you are dissatisfied with any part of your order. You may return that item/those items within 30 days as long as they remain in their original packing (i.e. unopened and unused). Postal costs and safe return will be the responsibility of the customer. Please ensure that you obtain a proof of posting certificate from the Post Office when returning goods as we will not be responsible for loss or damage during transit of returned goods.

We take great care in ensuring parcels sent out are adequately packaged to prevent damage, but in the unlikely event of a damaged or faulty item being received by you, please follow the procedure above for a full refund/replacement of the item and postage (at our discretion). Refunds will be made within 30 days of receipt of goods.

4 PRICING

All prices shown are INCLUSIVE of VAT. We reserve the right to alter prices at any time, without notice in the event of a supplier increasing its prices to us.

5 PAYMENT

Payment will be made securely by credit or debit card directly on the site, or through NOCHEX or PAYPAL. Credit or Debit cards are acceptable as a means of payment. Alternatively you may pay by cheque (e-mail us first) but this may result in a short delay as we will not send out your order until the cheque has been received.

6 GENERAL

We have taken great care to ensure that product descriptions, sizes and details are as accurate as possible. However we accept no liability or responsibility in the unlikely event of any inaccuracy, error or omission. Once delivered, the safe handling and use of all products is the responsibility of the customer.

By law, customers have a seven day ‘cooling off’ period when ordering goods from the web, during which you may cancel your order without reason. In such cases, if goods have already been received by you, they must be returned unopened, as new and unused within seven days of receipt for a refund of any monies paid apart from postal costs/charges, which must be borne by the customer. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that adequate packaging is used to ensure safe transit. Please obtain a proof of posting certificate from the Post Office. The Terms and Conditions stated above do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
